Diane Loesch went home to be with her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ from her earthly home in West Chester, Ohio on December 4, 2023. She was born on November 25, 1939 in Evansville, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Reginal P. and Mary Helen Mominee, sisters, Marilyn Jean Forshee and Linda Nunning.
Diane graduated from North High in Evansville in 1957. She studied piano at Evansville College and attended Middle Tennessee College and was awarded a “PhT” by ISU when her husband Danny graduated in 1965.
She is survived by her husband Daniel (Danny), their daughter Elana K Auls (Jeff) and son, Stephen (Gretel) Loesch. Grandchildren Meghan Ellsworth, Rafer and Ian Brimelow and Ozzy (Jeff) Toth; great-grandchildren Petra Shtiewi, Ezekiel and Odessa Olivia Tully-Chenault, Jacen Padro and Wesley Hensley. She is also survived by sisters: Nancy Jacobs, Carole (Bob) Higgs, and Anita (Bill) Felts and sister-in-law Dorris Loesch and many, much loved, nieces and nephews.
She was a stay-at-home mom, but after her kids were in high school and college she owned and operated “All My Children Doll Shop” in Hyde Park and Olde Montgomery. Along with Danny, she was a G-partner in the “Pizza Tower” restaurant. On retiring she and Danny moved to Tours, France for an extended vacation.
Over many years she served in Orchard Park and Loveland Presbyterian Churches and was a member of Crestview Presbyterian.
Diane’s visitation is Friday, December 8 at Crestview Presbyterian Church, 9463 Cincinnati-Columbus Road at 10am followed by the service at 11. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 11 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, OH at 9am.
