Sarah "Sally" Shryock, age 66, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on January 16, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1958, in Enid, Oklahoma, to James O. and Carol Marie (Rowley) DeFoe, both of whom preceded her in death.
Sally grew up in Enid, attending Enid High School and later attending Oklahoma State University. As a young woman, she worked alongside her father at his veterinary clinic, developing a lifelong love for animals, particularly dogs, a passion she carried with her throughout her life. Sally went on to have a distinguished career as a legal secretary at Gungoll Jackson Box & DeVoll, P.C., where she spent many years contributing to her community.
Outside of her professional life, Sally was a dedicated lover of dogs and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and shopping. She was always at the center of family gatherings, her warmth and caring presence cherished by all who knew her.
