Our dear wife, mother, sister and friend, Sarah M. Wayman passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by family and friends after a strenuous battle with cancer.
Sarah was born to Kenneth Bruce Cook and Mary Hill Musser on August 12, 1973, in Murray, Utah. As a child she loved skating and was an avid basketball fan. Her family were fierce Cougar fans she attended several basketball games with her family.
Sarah married Alex B. Wayman on March 21, 1994. She was a homemaker and mother for most of her life and loved every moment of raising her eight children. Sarah was an excellent teacher; she home schooled all her children. That passion continued when she became a Paraeducator, with a bachelor’s degree in special education.
Sarah enjoyed nature and farm life, especially taking care of her chickens. She had a great love for music, singing in the Salt Lake church choir for many years. She also participated in many church activities. Sarah lived a life of service to everyone she knew - her community and above all her family.
She is survived by her husband, children, mothers, and several brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her father in 2000.
