Scott Arthur St. Pierre, 62, a lifelong resident of Keene, passed away quietly and unexpectedly on Sunday, November 26, 2023, while at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
He was born to the late Betty Jane (Burgess) and Denis St. Pierre on July 14, 1961, in Keene. Scott was a graduate of Keene High School, class of 1979. After high school, Scott became a lifelong learner and participated in several courses through Keene State College.
On July 8, 2012, Scott exchanged vows with Thomasina Corina Moore in Swanzey, surrounded by many of their lifelong family members and friends. They had enjoyed their life together for 18 years, with 11 1/2 of those years as a happily married couple.
Scott enjoyed his time working as a long-term locksmith at Keene State College for 25 years until he retired in 2021. Scott was a man of many talents, a true "jack of all trades" and was referred to as "My MacGyver" by his beloved wife for his ability to figure out and fix anything.
Scott loved being active and was an avid hockey fan, and actively played in a senior men's hockey league; he also loved biking, spending time with his many grandchildren, wrestling and boxing. But his greatest love was for his wife Thomasina with whom he shared a passion for camping, cruising, remodeling, traveling and simply enjoying life together.
He was a proud father and step-father to Kristen St. Pierre (Colorado), Andre St. Pierre and his wife Holly (Keene, NH), Mark Conboy and his wife Evelyn (Los Angeles, CA), Joshua Conboy (Los Angeles, CA), Kimberly Bunker (Keene, NH), as well as a very devoted grandfather to Jacob, Gwen, Collin, Noah, Victoria, Preston, Autumn, Remy, and Vada. Scott is also survived by his step-siblings Richard St. Pierre and his wife Celia "Snooky" (Keene, NH), Joanne Moore and her husband Eric (Keene, NH), and Ghislaine "Jessie" Galano and her husband Peter (Mooresville, NC). Scott is predeceased by his father Denis St. Pierre and his dear mother Betty (Burgess) St. Pierre of Keene, NH, as well as his step-sister Francine St. Pierre (Keene, NH).
Scott had too many close friends whom he regarded as family to individually name everyone, but there were a couple who we want to make special mention of, including Brett and Sonia Johnson, Donnie and Doreen Sherrick, and Richard Kendall. These friends hold a special place in both Scott and Thomasina's hearts as they were their fellow adventurers in their love of camping, exploring, dancing, traveling, and overall curiosities.
Words cannot describe the loss that the St. Pierre family and friends are all experiencing at this time but Scott's legacy of love, laughter, strength, integrity, and devotion to those he loved will live on.
At Scott's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make donations in Honor of Scott St. Pierre to the Wounded Warrior Project online at woundedwarriorproject.org.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life to take place on January 13th, 2024, at the American Legion on Court Street, Keene, NH, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. We welcome everyone who would like to join us in rejoicing over Scott's life and legacy and sharing our memories together of this wonderful man whose life may have seemed short but whose impact will live on forever. All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel and Crematories, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. www.cheshirefamilyfh.com. The family would also like to thank Cheshire Family Funeral for their support, sensitivity and guidance during this difficult journey

The endless Lake Weekends. I feel very blessed to have been a part of Scott's life. Our families raised our kids together and enjoy lots of great food and conversation while we played in the sun at Silver Lake. RIP, you'll always be my brother inlaw.

So sorry to learn of Scott's passing. As a faculty member, Department Chair and Dean, he was always so helpful to me and colleagues to address key issues, especially when we moved into the newly renovated TDS Center! He always listened to understand our needs and moved on solution finding- Just the best!
