Sean Christopher Kilbride

Sean Christopher Kilbride passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 42. He was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1974, in Metairie, Louisiana to Rose Marie Tantillo Kilbride and Michael Joseph Kilbride, Sr. He was a longtime resident of Hammond, Louisiana and a current resident of Weaver, Alabama. Sean is the beloved husband of Cassie Lee Jernigan Kilbride. He was the best dad to Katelynn Marie, Samuel Joseph, and Christopher Wayne. Papa to Scott, Kayla, and Lylah. Loving son of Rose Marie and Michael J. Kilbride, Sr. Brother of Michael and his wife, Jill, and their children, Tristen and Gabby; Tommy and his wife, Bridget, their daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Chris, and their son and Sean's Godchild, Hunter; and Kristie and her husband Jimmy, and their children, Samantha, Morgan, Taylor, and John Robert. Also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary Bivona Tantillo, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Salvador Peter Tantillo, paternal grandparents, Marion Clark Kilbride and Sebastian Bernard Kilbride, and cousins, Joseph Sam Tantillo, Jr. and Carlo LaPuma. Serving as pallbearers are Jory Tantillo, Trey Tantillo, Jed Tantillo, Eric Pittman, Brent Beard, and Hunter Kilbride. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 601 N. Oak Street, Hammond, LA, on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum, Hammond, Louisiana. After the conclusion of the funeral services, a gathering will be held at Tope Là Catering, 104 N Cate Street, Hammond, LA 70401.
