Sheila Hall Roberts-Scallion died on September 17, 2024. She was born on December 21, 1928, in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Jack L. and Grace McFall Hall.
She was raised and educated in West Hartford, CT., graduating in 1946 from Hall High School and from Vermont Jr. College in 1948.
In 1950, she married Maurice Roberts and joined him in Montpelier, Vermont. She worked as a secretary in various positions until 1960, when she returned to West Hartford with her two children, David and Sue Roberts.
In 1974, she married Gerald Scallion and joined him in Cape Cod, MA, where she worked in the banking profession until retiring in 1990 after forty years.
Her retirement years were busy with voluntary work at the Dennis Senior Center, playing golf, tennis, and line dancing. She traveled with her family throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. She was an avid reader and loved her cats and her music. She sang with church choirs and choral groups throughout her adult life.
Sheila leaves her son David L. Roberts, and five grandchildren. Her husband pred at age 92, her daughter Sue Roberts Cyr at age 57 in 2013, and her siblings Jeanne, Jack, and Lowell Hall.
