Shelly McGill passed away on March 5th, 2024, in her home in South Ogden, UT, at age 62.
Shelly, born to the late George and Esther McGill in Ogden Utah on May 29th, 1961, was the youngest of 7 children. She graduated from Utah State University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Family Life Studies.
Though she struggled with her health, Shelly was incredibly thoughtful, loving, always thinking of others, and never turned down an excuse to give gifts to loved ones.
She was a born creative who found joy in all things crafty, including drawing, painting, sewing, scrapbooking, interior design, and simply collecting craft supplies.
Above all, her greatest joy in life was being a mom and a grandma.
Shelly was predeceased by her sisters, Georgia McGill, Maureen McGill, and Colleen McGill Crittenden. She was survived by her brothers Patrick McGill (Lois), Bruce McGill (Louree), and Kevin McGill (Janis); by her children, Aaron Patrick McGill (Sidney), Christopher Michael Wenzl, and Megan Esther Wenzl; and by her grandchildren Caden Michael Patterson, Ryker Aaron McGill, and Amelia Rose McGill.
Services for Shelly will be held at Provident Funeral Home 3800 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403 on Sunday, March 17th, from 6PM - 8PM MDT.

Shelly was the youngest She was quiet but wanted to join in the problem being she was so much younger than the four of us I am sorry we did not know she was sick and that she had died. I think the last McGill get together was at our home YES I miss them

Shelley was our youngest cousin. She was so beautiful. I wish we would have been closer over the years. The last time we were together was a McGill reunion. I miss those gatherings.

Shelly lived just a couple houses down from Kath Rasmussen. We would see her playing outside. She was always very kind and loving. I talked to her a few years ago and she sounded like she was struggling with her health. I wish I could have been there for her in some way. We will miss you Shelly! Love, Nancy
