Shirley Ann (Everson) Mitchell was born October 29th 1931 and joined her loving husband Rea (2006), only son Squeak (1991) on July 4th, 2025 at the age of 93 years young. Shirley was born to Ethel Everson (1964) in Chicago Illinois. After her birth Shirley returned to Idaho and spent her early years there with her mother and step father Alfred Bryan (1980). Her half sister Deanna (deceased) joined them in 1944.

Shirley married the love of her life in September 1952. Shirley and Rea had 53 wonderful years together. Together they enjoyed trips to Reno with family and friends, traveling to North Carolina to visit Deanna many times, a visit to the Gran Ole Opry House in Tennessee and an Alaskan cruise. Shirley was thrilled to renew her wedding vows with Rea for their 50th in Reno. When Shirley married Rea she gained a step son, Rama (2016). Rama's son R.C. Mitchell, and his daughter Amanda survives her. Also surviving her is Squeak's family Granddaughter Michelle, and her children, Great grandchildren Marcel (Halli), Jaden, Keziah (Kasey). And Great Great granddaughter Gwynevere.

Shirley lived many years in South Kelso enjoying the friendship of many neighbors. She enjoyed caring for her beautiful yard, entering her flowers in the Empire Fair. Shirley could be a little "spicy" and was quite the funny Gram. Shirley was loved very much and will be missed forever. Shirley was a lifetime member of the Kelso Eagles.
