Shirley “Delores” Oliphant, age 76, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1948, to the late Horace Harris and Marzella Belford Harris.
Delores was in the graduating class of 1966 at Fairview High School. She was also a devoted member of Craigfield Freewill Baptist when she was able to attend with her friends and family. Delores loved crafting, sewing, baking, and gardening. She also loved listening to country music and spending time with her family.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents listed above, her brother Nelson Harris, and sister Joyce Harris.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-four years, Kenneth Oliphant, daughters, Kimberly Gray, Karen Robinson (Andrew), and Kimberly Halbrooks (Mike). She also leaves behind her siblings, Jean Tidwell, William Harris (Linda), Glenn Harris (Geraldine), Donnie Harris (Teresa), Deborah Lampley (Bobby), and her grandchildren, Tiffany Stone, David Stone, Alexander Gray, Kristian Qualls, Allison Gordon, Kendall Clayton, Paige Mangrum, Bethany Halbrooks, Alexandria Barnett, Austin Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Hannah Redden, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 12:30pm until the hour of service. The service will be in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home beginning at 1:30pm with burial to follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
