Shirley Anne Rousselo, age 90 of Monroe, passed away on Saturday October 14, 2023 at Hampton Manor, Dundee.
Shirley was born April 16, 1933 in Ashtabula, OH, the daughter of Roy and Mildred (SeCheverell) Anderson. She was a 1951 graduate of Monroe High School and worked as a bookkeeper at the former Harry May Chevrolet and Cadillac dealer.
Shirley was married on June 19, 1954 to Kenneth Rousselo by Father John Hardy of St. Mary Catholic Church. From this union 4 children were born: Deborah Schmidt, Julie Kaiser, Patricia (Beth) Rousselo, and Kenneth A. (Sue) Rousselo. Shirley also had 7 grandchildren: Darin (Ashleigh), Bryan (Janelle), Megan, Taylor (Brandon), Steven, Kenneth J. (Alejandra), and Erin (Johnathan); and 1 great grandson, Jackson.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Anderson and Mildred Weilnau, her brother, Roy Anderson Jr., her sister, Betty Lonsway, and her daughter, Deborah Schmidt.
Family and friends may visit from 3-8pm on Friday October 20, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home, where a celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 11am. Pastor Willliam Lass will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Shirley's honor is asked to please consider Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Monroe.
