Starlett Lee Borgman, 83, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Rosary will begin from 6:00 pm till 6:30 pm followed by a Vigil Service and visitation 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Davis Owens and Brumley in Henrietta, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henrietta, Texas with Father Kyle Walterschied, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery under the direction of Davis Owens and Brumley in Henrietta, Texas.
Starlett was born on March 21, 1942 in Rusk County, Texas to Star and Estelle (Pittman) Cutler. She attended Midway High School where she was voted FFA Sweetheart, class of 1958. Starlett met Glen, the love of her life, one sweet Sunday at Mass. They were both members of St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Henrietta. Glen returned from college to marry Starlett that summer, June 27, 1958. They spent 57 wonderful years together before Glen's passing. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church where she a member of the Altar Society. Starlett worked as a caregiver and a loving homemaker.
Starlett served as a duchess on the Clay County Pioneer Queen float during the Pioneer Reunion and was very active in her community. Starlett loved everyone and never met a stranger. The front door was always open at "Mammaw's house" where you'd often hear her playing piano and cutting up with her family and friends. Always singing, "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and hollering "sink it" from the stands at their basketball games. Starlett will be remembered for her loving heart and her warm smile that could light up any room.
Starlett was preceded in death by parents; husband Glen; sisters, Irene Cutler, Jimmie Henson; brother-in-laws, Keith Borgman and Jerry Borgman, Clyde Henson Earl Adair; sister-in-laws, Darlene Adair, JoAnn Borgman and Loretta Hise.
Survivors include her children, Greg Borgman and wife Diane, Steve Borgman and wife Daphne, Jennifer Covington and husband Kenny; 6 grandchildren, Breck Covington and wife Jacklyn, Adam Borgman and wife Sarah, Stephany Wolf and husband Ben, Lance Covington and wife Chelsea, Adrienne Borgman and Kevin Langford, Andrea Koetter and husband Thomas; 10 great grandchildren, Camille Cabrera, Carter (Trip) Covington, Lily Covington, Madison Koetter, Rylen Koetter, Keagan Covington, Kealy Covington, Kayson Covington, Blakely Borgman, Brynlee Borgman; sister-in-law, Elaine Edwards and husband Wynn; brother-in-laws Larry Borgman, Tony Borgman and wife Carol, Billy Hise; three nephews, Mike Henson and wife Nancy, Don Henson and wife Karen, Pat Henson and wife Mary.
Memorials may be made to St. Michaels Cemetery or the Henrietta VFD.

Starlett was one of the first people in Bill´s extended Borgman Family I was introduced to and I so appreciated being one of the many, many beneficiaries of her warmth and welcoming smile. I will always remember seeing her surrounded by family in her living room (kitchen, porch and backyard!), just loving be so loved last Christmas! My sympathies to you all. Sandy Hise
