Stephanie Lynn Spears

Stephanie Lynn Spears, passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 52.
Stephanie will be dearly missed by her loving parents, Brian and Donna Spears. Her beloved sister, Denise Sobieski (Scott). Cherished nieces and nephew, Emma, Sienna and Stephen, whom she loved dearly. Her dearest Uncle Leon "Squeak" Spears and caring Aunt Celeste Bittner.
Stephanie was a life long resident of Pennsville, NJ. She was a 1991 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School, where she was a dedicated member of the Marching Band Color Guard. She then went on to earn her Associates Degree from Salem Community College. Stephanie worked as a switchboard operator at the Inspira Medical Center in Mannington, NJ.
Stephanie was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed romance novels and true crime. When she didn't have a book in her hand, Stephanie could be found researching genealogy, which she found great passion in. Stephanie spent many meaningful hours tracing linage, researching descendants and uncovering family histories -not just for herself, but also those of friends and relatives. Steph was a true friend and always showed up with a kind heart and a listening ear. Anytime spent with Stephanie was a guarantee to have laughs with her sarcastic wit or signature laugh that was always contagious. Stephanie loved crockpots and candles. If you ask her what was for dinner, chances were it was a crockpot recipe. And she almost always had a candle lit and owned too many to count. Just like the candles she burned, Stephanie brought light to others that will never fade.
