daughter in her pursuits in Dance and Music.
In what little spare time he had, Steve was an avid darts player and played in several local Dart

Steve was in my social studies classes at Owen J. in the 90's. I have such fond memories of him. He was smart, kind, and so, so funny. He made us laugh all the time. I ran into him a few years ago and was impressed at the man he had become. I am so sorry for your loss; I cannot imagine losing him so soon. Prayers for strength and encouragement in these hard days.

Steve was an amazing man, always full of positivity and energy. If you were down, Steve could lift you up. I am so sorry to hear of his sudden passing. My family sends our condolences to his family, friends and his community. Steve was a larger than life presence on earth and I have no doubt he will be the same up above. May he rest in peace.

Cindy and Steve, my heart is broken to hear of Stephen's passing. Last year, we caught up through our business association and it was so great to see him as a young family man. I cannot even begin to understand the depths of your sorrow, but I share my love and memories of you and your family. Stephen was such an impressive man and someone I will remember forever. May God Bless you, his brother, his wife, children and all of his extended family. My prayers are with all of you. With deepest sympathy, Karen O'Brien Garland

Such a great man taken to soon young and too soon. I remember Steve way back in Spring City Elementary School before he moved up the road to OJR district. He was just as energetic, and fun filled then. So sorry for your loss family and friends. Karl Edge will never be forgotten.

I met Mr. Batten at a charity softball tournament. He was the nicest man and it truly is sad that his life was taken so abruptly. RIP
