Stephen R. Folger

Stephen R. Folger, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, after a long illness. Steve was born in Philadelphia and raised in Wyndmoor, PA, where he attended Springfield Township High School. He later graduated from Muhlenberg College and made the Lehigh Valley his home. Steve made many lifelong friends during his school years through his participation in various sports and as a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He is fondly remembered for his love of Philadelphia sports teams, playing golf, coaching and watching his sons in youth, high school, and college sports. He also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy with his family, and listening to Patsy Kline songs playing at The Merc while watching four games on TV at once.
Steve is survived by his wife of forty-nine years Barbara; his two sons, Douglas and Bradley, his sister-in-law, Cathy Webb, and mother-in-law, Janet Webb. He was pre- deceased by his parents, Wallace and Jean Folger.
Barbara would like to express her gratitude to all of the LVHN caregivers and staff that played a role in Steve's treatment and care.
Steve requested that donations be sent to Alex's Lemonade Stand, for the fight against childhood cancer ().
A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Shepherd Hills Golf Club, 1160 S. Krocks Road, Wescosville, PA. Family and friends are invited to join this casual gathering.
