Mr. Stephen Lee "Steve" Rouse

Stephen Lee Rouse "Steve", 41, of North Augusta, SC, passed tragically and went to be with Our Heavenly Father, on Friday, January 5, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ, a son of Marjorie "Maggie" Metzler Rouse and the late John Larry Rouse. He had been a former resident of Englewood OH, before relocating to North Augusta, SC, two years ago. He was employed by Augusta Sportswear, where he was the Global Logistics Manager. Steve was known for his infectious laugh, his generous and caring nature, who never met a stranger. Golf was his passion, and he made many longtime friends while playing a round. Steve recently found a new love for boating after spending time on the lake with his boys, Chris and Noah, His nephew and niece, JC and Ella, and his amazing new friends. Steve loved and took pride in his job. His biggest love, however, was his family and he made it a point to visit with them as often as he was able. He had a heart of gold and was such an amazing person to be around.
In addition to his parents, family members include his boys, Christopher and Noah Rouse, Mother of his boys Melissa Campbell, siblings and their spouses, Brother Mike and Tara Rouse nieces Andrea, Kaylee, Mackenzie, Jillian; Brother Jon and Nikki Rouse nephew JC and niece Ella; Sister Alyssa and Aaron Hart, and niece Katarina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 3rd, 2024, from 4 until 7 o'clock at Liberty Tap Room located at 1602 Marina Rd. Irmo, SC 29063. There will also be a Golf Scramble Benefit for Steve in Dayton Oh, in March or April 2024. Further information for that will be sent out via Facebook and Instagram.
