With profound sadness, the Miller family announces the passing of Steven J. Miller, who left us at the age of 60 on September 26, 2024. Born on April 16, 1964, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Leonard and Elsie (Wnuk) Miller, Steven was a graduate of Ewing High School and spent twenty years as an Engineering Technician with the New Jersey Department of Transportation before his retirement.
Steven was most at peace while fishing at sunrise on Long Beach Island, and he was a devoted fan of the New York Mets, Dallas Cowboys, Boston Celtics, and North Carolina Tar Heels. He had a great passion for music, especially when played loud, with favorite bands including The Allman Brothers, Frank Zappa, Metallica, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Steven was predeceased by his mother, Elsie "Bette" Miller, and his brother, Lenny Miller. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Robin Sterns; his father, Leonard Miller; sisters Karen Miller (Don Cosma) and Robin Murr (Jaime Murr); niece Nicole Angelella, affectionately known as his "honey bunny"; nephews Mark Klosinski, Salvatore Angelella, Henry Sterns II; and his brother-in-law, Henry Sterns III.
A memorial service to celebrate Steven's life will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Avenue, Ewing, New Jersey, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Incarnation Church, 1545 Pennington Road, Ewing. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's memory may be made to the Living Donor Program at Jefferson Einstein Hospital, 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA 19141.
We will forever remember Steve, our Stevie "Moose," and the joy he brought into our lives.
