Steven Spivey

Steven Spivey, affectionately known as "Stevie" was born December 7, 1957, in Plainfield, NJ. He was a longtime resident and attended the Plainfield School System. Throughout the school and the neighborhood, Stevie spread his bubbly spirit and energetic laughter.
Stevie was a Roofer for Karcher & Sons for over 30 years in Watchung, NJ. Most recently, he worked as an Environmental Service Worker at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.
Stevie's passions included cooking, fishing, dancing, and listening to music. He was the true Life of the Party. Stevie had a heart of gold, and he loved his family with every piece of it. He was a loyal, honest, and generous man. His joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He shared his love, wisdom, and kindness leaving an imprint on their lives. Stevie Spivey leaves behind a legacy of humility. We will forever be grateful for all the unconditional love and laughs.
He was Predeceased by: his beloved mother Nina Spivey, his beautiful sisters; Patricia Spivey, Yvonne Spivey, Beth Ann Howell, Alberta Cole, and Naomi Spivey, and his bold brother Jonathan (Donald) Spivey.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his children Steven Miller (Zahniah), Shaquinn Spivey, Johnetta Gaddy, his Grandchildren: Zakai, Xari, and Xylo Miller, his Siblings: Richard (Ronald) Spivey and Pamela Robinson, his Brother-in-Law: William (Billy) Howell, a special niece and best friend Kara Sullivan, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
As we honor him, please celebrate his life and legacy with love, laughter, kindness, and forgiveness. That is all he would ask from us!
