Sue C. Young
Age 84 of Canton, Ohio died peacefully on Saturday March 23, 2024.
Sue was born May 3, 1939 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Dr. & Mrs. Robert H. McCommon.
She was a 1957 graduate of Shadyside High School. She attended Kent State University.
In 1958 she married her High School sweetheart, Lynn Young.
They had 3 daughters: Pam Gardner of Fallbrook, CA, Lee Ann (Charles) Spencer of North Canton and Shari Lenar.
She has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She has 2 sisters: Jane Karaffa of Granville, Ohio and Sally Brown of Westerville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (2009), her daughter Shari (2014) and great granddaughter
Leah Jo (2022).
Her body has been donated to the Genesis Research Program at the University of Tennessee.
The family would like to thank the staff of Cross Roads Hospice & Allay Memory Care for all their care & support over the
past 5 years.
Memorial contributions may be made to: the Alzheimers Foundation, The Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Childrens Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House.
A Private family service will be held at a later date.
Arnold Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
