Suzanne E. Dzieciolowski

Suzanne Elaine Dzieciolowski (Meyer), age 66, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in Warren, Michigan. She was born on January 22, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, to Fredrick J. Meyer and Joann Mary Meyer (Hill). Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Steven Meyer and Frederick Meyer, and beloved in-laws James and Patricia Dzieciolowski. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Steven J. Dzieciolowski; her children, Jennifer (Steve) Amorose, Matthew (Sandra) Dzieciolowski, and Emily (Jose) Marquez; and her beloved grandchildren, Nick, Luke, and Jack Amorose, Edwin and Mateo Marquez, Noa Dzieciolowski, and another granddaughter expected early next year. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Jean (Robert) Rudzki, Sharon (Ron) Skoczen, Paula (Michael) Muszynski, Christopher (Pamela) Meyer, and Mary Jo Meyer; along with many adored nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family members, and dear friends. Sue grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and graduated from Henry Ford II High School. She went on to earn both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wayne State University. Her dedication to education led her to a 26-year career teaching life skills, child development, and social studies at Roseville Public Schools, where she left a lasting impact on countless students. She was an active member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society for educators, where she passionately supported scholarships for aspiring teachers. She also found joy reading to young students as part of the StoryTime Guild, alongside her cherished friends Cathy Walsh and Linda (Ward) Lorenzetti. Sue found joy in creating memories for others. She was known for her generous spirit, her thoughtful nature, and her love of cooking for family and friends. Whether it was hosting a dinner or planning an outing and activities for the kids, she had a special way of showing her love. Above all, her favorite title was "Gammy." Being a grandmother brought her immense pride and happiness. She loved planning adventures and activities with her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them. Just this past summer, they shared a joyful week at the lake, a trip to Michigan's Adventure, a trip to the Repterium and watergun fights, just to name a few - creating memories that will live on through her family. Sue's warmth, generosity, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Sue's life with a visitation on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica from 2-8pm with a rosary at 4:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at St. Blase Catholic Church 12151 Fifteen Mile Road (Btwn Van Dyke & Schoenherr) Sterling Heights, a visitation prior to mass will be held from 9 am until the time of the funeral mass at 9:30am
