Suzanne Gimple Goodman

Suzie passed peacefully on April 10, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Born on March 5, 1943, in Rochester, NY.
Suzie was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Renee Gimple. She is survived by her husband, Joel Goodman; her brother, David (Karen) Gimple; her children, Debbie (Michael) Abrams, Robin (Russell) Amsden, and Todd (Julie) Levine; her ten grandchildren, Lindsay Abrams, Alex Abrams, Ashley (Casey) Meeks, Emily (Justin) Bommarito, Isabel (Austin) Brennan, Jack Amsden, Noah Levine, Morgan Levine, Rachel Levine, and Harvey Levine; great-grandchildren, Nash Meeks, Hart Meeks, Addison Brennan, and Lily Brennan; nephews, Josh Gimple and Adam Gimple; and many cousins.
A 1961 graduate of Monroe High School, Suzie earned her Nursing degree from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in 1963, later completing a Bachelor's in Psychology. Her career included various nursing roles in the Rochester area and 20 years of volunteer work at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida. Suzie's warm smile and caring nature touched countless lives.
Always smiling and kind, Suzie showed compassion to everyone and consistently put others first. Her many close friendships remained strong throughout her life. Of all her roles, being a grandma brought her the greatest joy.
Suzie loved social activities like bowling, tennis, golf, mahjong, and watching baseball, especially enjoying Silver Slugger's nights and cheering on her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, especially for shoes, and going out to lunch. A fan of sweets, Suzie lived by the motto, "enjoy life, eat dessert first". Her deep Jewish faith was reflected in the traditions she passed down at countless family meals, preserving a culture she held dear.
Suzie's legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the family and friends she cherished. Her kindness, compassion, and beautiful life will always remain in our hearts.
A private grave-side service will be held.
There will be a Memorial Service on July 26th, 2025 at 1:30pm in the atrium of Temple B'rith Kodesh. for a map to Temple.
