LIFE STORY
Tanya Brittingham affectionately known as "Syreeta" was born in the city of Camden at Cooper hospital on April 7, 1967 to Marion Miller and Robert Brittingham. She was educated in the Camden City school district.
In her youth, Tanya was employed as a certified nurse assistant and a housekeeper at various hotels and nursing homes. During Tanya's time here on earth. Her spirit was truly felt by many. She shared a special love with the late Byron Brown known to her as "Boo" or "my husband. " Syreeta loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She enjoyed spending family time.
Everyone loved "Ree Dog". She just had a way with people and left her mark on whoever she came in contact with. Whether it was her putting you on blast for wearing her clothes or something crazy coming out of her mouth she was the light in any room. Syreeta was a fashionista. She loved her labels, but Burberry was her favorite. Her favorite line was "let me hold a couple dollars."
Tanya leaves to cherish her memories her children Shaheeda, Syreeta, Sahim, Byron and Shamier. Her sister Dhamana (Ruben) and Tiffany. Grandchildren Kareem, Dajuan, Sanai, Dayonni, Saaj, Nyla, Jace, Sahim Jr and Xylo. Tanya also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends
Tanya is welcomed home by her parents Marion (Clarence) Miller, Robert Brittingham. Siblings Robin "La", Robert "Boobie" Sandra "Saun" and Vincent. Her son Saad "Pop" and her "Boo" Byron Brown.
