Tassy Allen Neel

Taskie Mae "Tassy" Allen Neel, born on February 10, 1983, in High Point, NC, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, at the age of 41. Tassy was a compassionate and loving lady, truly one in a million. A graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School, she enjoyed a life full of adventure and love. Her interests spanned from outdoor activities such as bird watching, hunting deer, and riding 4-wheelers, to spending cherished moments outside with her beloved daughter. Tassy also had a love for the beach, which transformed into a passion for cruises after her husband took her on her first voyage. Additionally, she found joy in attending concerts, spoiling her nieces and nephews and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dayton Coffey, and her paternal grandparents, Homer and Christine Allen, Tassy leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her devoted husband, Julian Neel; her parents, Judy Coffey and Homer "JunBug" Allen; biological father, Bruce Allen; her children, Kyra Neel, Josh Neel, Lucas Neel, and Alyssa Neel; her sister, Jessica Allen; her brother, Michael Allen, and wife Patti, and brother Shane Allen, and his wife Jennifer; grandson, Colton Cray; her grandmother, Linda Coffey; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 5:00 PM.
