Ted Dewey Obituary
He was born February 28, 1956, in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Perry Dewey Jr and Betty (Buesink) Dewey of Clymer, NY.
Ted was raised and educated in Sherman, NY and graduated from Sherman High School in 1974. He then attended Jamestown Community College and studied business. Ted loved farming and has been a dairy farmer his entire life.
He attended church at the Clymer Methodist Church and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Corry. He was a member of Koinonia and Chautauqua County Farm Bureau. Ted enjoyed hunting, bowling and loved his family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gary DeLellis Sr.
In addition to his mother, Ted is survived by his son, Ted Dewey II of Blasdell, NY; two sisters, Terry DeLellis of Sherman, NY and Karen (Stan) Paszko of Erie, PA; brother, Perry Todd (Elaine Earley) Dewey III of Madison, NY; granddaughter, Savannah; grand dog, Jax and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call at Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407 on Tuesday, June 10th from 6 pm until 8 pm and there on Wednesday, June 11th from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am. Rev. Brian Eiss will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Stanley Hose Fire Co. 1, 122 Park St, Sherman, NY 14781, Clymer Methodist Church, 565 Clymer Sherman Rd, Clymer, NY 14724 or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 E. South St, Corry, PA 16407.
