Theresa Green

Theresa Green was born to the late Nellie and Raymond Easley in Chicago, IL. Theresa found God at an early age and was a faithful member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. She graduated from Union High School in 1969. She was married to the late George Green in 1978. Theresa had numerous jobs. She was employed at Kemper Insurance Company for 25 years until retirement. Theresa found her eternal resting place with the Lord on Wednesday September 4, 2024. She is leaves to cherish, her brother Simon Easley of Upstate, NY, two children, Allen Green of Irvington, NJ, Shakira Green of Irvington, NJ, two grandchildren Brianna and Elijah Jackson of Irvington, NJ, along with a host of additional family and friends.
Theresa Green was a hard worker, reliable and selfless. She always assisted those who were in need. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a remarkable woman. Theresa's humorous and exuberant personality reined supreme. These are the attributes which made her unique. As a wise man by the name of Robert Tew once said, "Strength of character isn't always about how much you can handle before you break. It is also about how much you handle after you've been broken." Such is the essence of Theresa Green, may she continue to rest in eternal peace.
