He was born on November 09, 1953, in Henderson County, North Carolina and was the son of the late Ray and Beatrice Corn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Corn; and sister, Peggy Plemmons.
Tommy's journey through life was marked by his unwavering passion for carpentry, a skill that he honed and cherished throughout his career. He attended a semester at N.C. His dedication and craftsmanship were evident in every project he undertook.
A graduate of Edneyville High School, Tommy excelled both on and off the field. He played football with great determination and pride, showcasing his strength and resilience as an offensive and defensive tackle and guard for the Yellow Jackets football team.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Amber Chauvette (Mike) and Lauren Nations (Bryce); and his cherished grandchildren, Wren McClain (Hunter) and Noah Nations. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Sandy Burnette; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Tommy's wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
