Thomas Ray Thornton

Thomas Ray Thornton, 17, of East Stroudsburg, passed away early Saturday morning, May 14, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.
Born on July 27, 2004, in Bethlehem, he was a son of Douglas and Tanya (Hoffman) Paxson of East Stroudsburg and was a lifelong resident of Monroe County.
Thomas was a senior at Stroudsburg High School, where he did Cross Country and ran track. He was also involved in MMA. After graduation Thomas was planning on becoming a union electrician.
Thomas was such a giving person in life, even in death he chose to give to people, by being an organ donor which helped six people.
In addition to his parents surviving are three siblings, Taylore Thornton of Massachusetts, Alexis Fletcher and husband Daniel of Center Valley and Andrew Paxson of East Stroudsburg; a very large and loving extended family; and his beloved pets, Peanut and Oreo.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with viewing beginning at 2:00PM followed by the funeral service at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in Stroudsburg Cemetery.
