The final chapter has been written for Timothy Adam Waldie born March 7th 1980 to Kenneth and Sherry (Randall) Waldie in Bay City Michigan. Tim's life has come full circle as his passing occurred on the same floor, at the same hospital, in which he was born, Mclaren Bay Regional Medical Center. Tim passed away on December 20th 2023 after a brief illness. He lived his entire life in Arenac county on Langdon Road building his home across the road from the homestead. He was the youngest of four and a "surprise package", born 12 years after the rest of the siblings. He was known as Amanda Grace until his arrival. He was the youngest teenager ever known at 3 years old and had a competition with Steve to see who could visit the ER the most. It was a good thing his sister became a nurse to save on the ER visits. Tim graduated from Standish-Sterling HS and also attended Bay-Arenac Career Center studying Auto mechanics. Tim worked at Arenac - Castings for over 20 years, could fix just about anything and was happy to help anyone who needed assistance.
Tim truly enjoyed the outdoors, cutting firewood to provide heat for his home, having campfires with his family and friends, and deer hunting, he bagged his biggest buck a couple of years ago, a ten point for which he was so proud. Tim was an integral part of the Waldie Maple syrup made every season in the Sugar Shack, tapping trees, collecting the sap and boiling it down to just the right consistency. Tim and his dad used to travel to tractor shows and fairs with an Oil pull, steam engine and a small threshing machine made by his grandpa Waldie.
Tim will forever be missed and cherished by his parents Kenneth and Sherry Waldie, children - Lucianna, Izac and Tucker Waldie all at home with their mother Sarah Waldie, siblings - Steve and Tammy Waldie, Nancy and James Mitchell, Michael and Cheryl Waldie, nieces- Kaitlyn Card ( Casey Coleman) and Gwen and Kyle Daniel, nephews Nathan Card and Luke ( Ashleigh Wilson) Waldie. Tim is also survived by his uncle Gary and Jolene Randall, Aunts- Jeanette Stacker and Suzette Randall, many cousins, special friends Jonathan Groulx, Jeremy, girlfriend Hannah Ruth Kamau, his pets Gus And SpongeBob.
He was preceded in death by grandparents- Wayne and Lucille( Bruno ) Waldie, Lawrence and Marjiellen ( Deckrow) Randall, uncles George Stacker and Jerry Brown, and a cousin Brandy (Brown ) Coffin.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11 AM at Divine Shepherd Christian Church with Pastor John Tousciuk presiding with burial in Pine River Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 8 PM. A luncheon will be provided back at the church by the members of the church.
In lieu of flowers please consider an expression of sympathy to a trust fund being set up for his children.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of the providers, nursing staff and support staff at both Ascension Standish and Mclaren Bay Regional Hospitals for the outstanding care provided to Tim. Everyone gave it their all to change the outcome but it wasn't to be. Tim is now free and at peace with the Lord.

My first memory would be when he came over to meet us, as we had just moved in down the road from. His knock on the door wasn't heard, he then went to the front window and tapped on it. Scared the crap out of my mom and me. LOL.
