Tommy Samuel Turner Ramsey, age 48, of Yadkinville passed away on June 15, 2025 at his home.
Tommy was born in Seneca, SC on March 21, 1977 to Tommy and Shirley Evans Turner. Tommy loved football and graduated from Randleman High School where he was the quarterback for the Randleman Tigers. Tommy was a professional welder and was most recently employed at Wallace Farms. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Gallagher and brother, James Ramsey. Tommy was a jack of all trades and was referred to as a “gentle giant.”
He is survived by his children, Isaac Ramsey of Louisiana, Bryanna Turner of Clover, SC, and Ethan Turner of Lexington; grandchildren, Caleb Ramsey and Kason Anderson; sister, Juanta Brady (Timmy Hammer) of Seneca, SC; brother, Ronnie Ramsey of Asheboro; nieces, Kristin Mauldin (Cory) and Hayley Brooks (Anthony); great nieces and nephews, Addie, Emery, Bently, Landen, Jaxxon, and 1 great nephew on the way.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel with Pastor Rick Davis officiating.
