Tonya Robinson, 60, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Center.
Her celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Tonya was born on July 26, 1965, in Santa Ana, California, to her late father, Joseph Robinson Jr. and mother Marlyne Elizabeth Robinson. For seven years, she gave her time and talents assisting people with filing taxes, always eager to lend a hand whenever she was needed.
Tonya found joy in traveling, cooking, and spending time with others. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, coloring, and dancing.
Tonya’s greatest love was her family, who meant everything to her. She was a faithful member of Havelock Community Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshipped and served with a giving heart. May Tonya be remembered for her kindness, her joyful spirit, and her willingness to help anyone in need.
Proverbs 11:25 – “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Those left to treasure her memory are her mother, Marlene Elizabeth Robinson of Havelock, NC; sons, Bradley Robinson of Morehead City, NC, and David Aaron Robinson of Charlotte, NC; 6 sisters; 4 brothers; and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Tonya was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
