He served his country as a Specialist in the U.S. Army.
He liked racing, bowling, and gaming, but most importantly he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Heather Tate (Lamar Ayers) of Indianapolis; father, Terrill (Brooke) Willhoite of Anderson; step-father, Deante Tate; siblings, Tegan Willhoite, Alexis Tate, Maisen Willhoite, and Easton Willhoite; grandmothers, Tracie Morris and Julie Allison; great-grandmother, Mil Ligon and Bonnie Ake; uncles, Todd (Kelsea) Forwalt, C. J. Stuller, Nicholas Pierce, Rex Ake, Jr, and Jay (Shannon) Southerland; aunts, Erin Cox (Mark Nicolai) and Kimberly Ake; best friends, Braden (Isabelle) Nance, Caleb Southerland and Jaden Dobbs; nieces, Evelyn and Estelle Nancy; as well as several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Peggy Morris, Art Morris and John Allison; and cousin, Jordan Montague.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 3:00 pm at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, IN. www.loosecares.com.

My deepest condolences. I have a son who was born June 9, 2004 so this hits home for me seeing how young Tyler was. i´m sure you all are very proud of Tyler as I am for serving our country although I didn´t know him I´m sure he had great character If the first thing he wanted to do when he got of age was to serve our country. He must´ve been a great addition to our arm forces as he looks so proud Wearing the army uniform. Rest in peace Young man and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
