Upma Sharma Obituary

was born and raised in Punjab, India.
Upma was the beloved wife of the late Naresh Kumar and a devoted mother to Anup Sharma
and his wife, Hannah, and her daughter Ginny Sharma and her husband, Deepak. She was a
cherished grandmother to Krish and Aria. Upma is survived by her father, Tersem Lal, her
sisters, and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Kamala Devi, and
her brother, Ashok Sharma.
Upma dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and wife. As a homemaker, she found joy
in cooking, gardening, and helping to raise her grandchildren. She loved traveling and cherished
the time spent surrounded by family and friends. Religion was central to Upma's life, as she was
a firm believer in God.
She will be remembered for her wisdom and caring nature.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research
Hospital, Upma Sharma's favorite charity.
