Vicki Wallace Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes and Hedges Cemetery - Camdenton on Oct. 28, 2024.
Vicki Wallace, age 81, of Camdenton, MO passed away on October 24th, 2024 at Arrowhead Senior Living. She was born on March 8th, 1943, in Topeka, KS, daughter of Charles and C. Rose (Smith) Vinckier.
Vicki grew up in Kansas and graduated from Garden City High School in 1961. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard, on July 21st, 1962. Together they had two children, Rich and Kim. Vicki obtained her teaching degree from University of MO - St. Louis and began her teaching career in the Parkway School district. She transferred to Hazelwood West High, where she spent over 20 years. She taught business and was the color guard sponsor for many years. Vicki and Richard retired to the Lake area full-time in 2000. Vicki was a member of St. Anthony's church, where she met many friends with whom she enjoyed playing cards with. She got a kick out of telling people she was a "hooker," or rather a rug hooker. She and Richard loved to travel, especially in their camper. And she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Vicki is survived by children and spouses, Richard Jr and Vicky (Kelly) Wallace, Kimberly (Wallace) and Michael Gericke; grandchildren, Jessica (Wallace) and Ryan Motts, Sarah Gericke, Allison (Wallace) and Brandon Edwards, and Megan Gericke; great grandchildren, Olivia and Cora; sister and spouse, Charla (Vinckier) and Dale Fowler; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Wallace; parents, Charles and Rose Vinckier; sister, Linda Forster; and beloved aunt, Julia (Vinckier) Kohlberg.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, November 4, 2024 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Camdenton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
