Vicki Michelle Odom Wallace, 54, of New Bern, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2025.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, November 9th at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City. Vicki will be laid to rest privately at Odom Family Cemetery in New Bern.
Born and raised in New Bern, Vicki was a shining light whose faith and love touched everyone she met. A devoted Christian, mother, daughter, sister, and friend; Vicki lived her life with deep compassion and unshakable faith in Christ. She had a beautiful spirit and a tender heart, always striving to see the best in others and never speaking unkindly of anyone. A natural caregiver, Vicki dedicated much of her life to serving those in need within her community, holding many roles throughout the years that reflected her selfless love and compassion for others.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially her children, whom she loved with all her heart. Vicki’s warmth, laughter, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her heart was right with the Lord, and she spoke to her children about His love and faithfulness every chance she had, leaving them a legacy of faith that will guide them always.
She is survived by her beloved children, Dylan and his husband Bryson Proctor, and her beautiful daughter, Anna Blaire. She also leaves behind her mother, Carrie and her husband Mike Crawford; her stepmother, Dorinda Odom; her brothers, Willis Odom III and his wife Jane, Steve Odom and his wife Christina; her sisters, Erica Boos and her husband Allen and Tiffany Tran; the father of her beautiful children, Gary Wallace; along with many other extended family members.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Willis Odom Jr., and is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with him; her aunt, Vicki; her cousin, Angel; and her grandparents, Eloise and Earl Brock from her mother’s side, and Sue and Willis Odom from her father’s side.
Vicki’s legacy is one of love, grace, and unwavering devotion—to her faith, her family, and all those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” - John 3:16
Her faith has become sight, and her soul rests in the arms of her Savior.
