He had resided in West Haven, Connecticut and graduated from West Haven High School. Mr. Ferrie was self-employed at The Original Cottage Family Restaurant in Rimforest, CA. He was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church in League City, TX. He enjoyed coin and car collecting and antiques. He also adored Chow rescue dogs.
He is survived by his two sons, Vincent N. Ferrie Jr. (Kenneth Raby) of Northford, CT and George M. Ferrie (Monique) of Friendswood, TX; his three grandchildren, George M. Ferrie Jr., Geoff C. Ferrie and Christopher A. Ferrie; and his one great-granddaughter, Aubree Ferrie. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol J. Ferrie.
All services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450.
