Wanda Whitten, age 84, of Sudan, Texas died Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Amherst, Texas. She was born December 17, 1939 in Lamb County, Texas to Jack and Lenna (Groom) Hill. She married Kermit Whitten in Sudan on December 24, 1998.
Wanda was a legal secretary for many years. She loved traveling around the world. Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church in Sudan. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Theron Hill, Orville Hill, Cloyce Hill and Dale Hill.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Kermit; a sister, Lynette Burns of Sudan, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Sudan EMS and Fire Volunteer Department, PO Box 491, Sudan, Texas, 79370.
