William T. Fecto, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 12, 2022 after a courageous battle. He was the loving husband of Roberta (Fotiathis) Fecto for 36 wonderful married years and 45 total years together. Born January 2, 1957 in Torrington, he was the cherished son of William E. and Ann (Coury) Fecto of New Hartford.
Bill worked for the Metropolitan District Commision (MDC) until he and his wife retired five years ago to travel and enjoy family time. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying all types of fishing and hunting. He also loved camping and boating. Billy was a kind, thoughtful soul and he is already deeply missed.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Carmen Young, Shanna Fecto, Sarah Fecto, his grandchildren Brayden Young, Connor Miller, Lillian, Lucas and Logan Wright, and his siblings Michael Fecto, Robert Fecto and his partner David Killeen. He also leaves many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family whothought so highly of him and he the same.
