William "Billy" Hof Jr.

William "Billy" Hof Jr., passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. Beloved husband of Deborah Hodges Hof of 46 years, father of Kristen H. (Wesley) Cato, and Brandon A. Hof. Paw Paw of 2 grandchildren: Braedon and Laynie; also survived by his brother and sisters: Doug (Paula) Hof, Sheri (Fred) Rivette, and Lori (Mike) Bernard; his loving mother Elaine T. Hof and preceded in death by his father, the late William "Willie" Hof. Numerous treasured family and friends also shared in his love of life.

Billy graduated from Bonnabel High School, and earned his degree in Business Marketing from the University of New Orleans. He worked at Barker's Department Store as a graphic designer where he met Debby, the love of his life. The couple wed June 9, 1979. He held positions at both Royal Oldsmobile and Frito-Lay, and worked more than 19 years with the New Orleans Fair Grounds Corporation. During his tenure with the Louisiana Horseman's Benevolent and Protective Association, he was promoted to Treasurer-Secretary/Auditor. He proudly retired from All-Temp Refrigeration Services as a Parts Procurement Specialist and Estimator.

He was a football fanatic whose hobbies included cooking, photography, restoring yard art. He loved socializing at Friday at Fred's. He'll be forever loved and fiercely missed.
