William L. Shue, Jr., 66, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at home.
He was born in Lancaster, son of the late William L. and Betty (Vogel) Shue.
William was employed with Direct Wire and Kalas for 40 plus years. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains, golfing, and driving around with no destination.
William is survived by his companion, Kathy Wiest; 2 children, William M. Shue and Ryan M. Shue; 3 stepchildren, Brandon Pierce, husband of Luda, Tonya Serrano and Brittany E. Merklinger, wife of Greg; 4 grandchildren, Hayden Lee, Aliyah Lynn, Alexa Jane, and Alerick Jericho; 7 step-grandchildren, Mya, Trey, Aidan, Roman, Peyton, Aubrey, and Bentley; 2 sisters, Deborah Seiz, wife of Jeff, and Donna Shue.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver.
Memorial contributions in William 's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
