William "Bill" S. Smith, Jr., age 67, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on April 20, 2025. Bill was a graduate of Great Valley High School and went on to earn his degree from Penn State University.
He was also a proud member of the Coatesville Moose Lodge, and was known for his love of fishing, hunting, and playing the saxophone. Bill dedicated over 50 years as a self-employed chemical blender for the photo industry at PC & E, a company founded by his father. His deep knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to the craft were hallmarks of his career.
He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret "Peggy" (née Bowman) and William S. Smith, Sr.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 15 years, Lisa (née Shank) Smith; his son, William "Will" S. Smith III and his wife Rosa; his cherished grandchildren, Connor and Arya; his sister, Janet Altemus(John) ; a niece, a nephew, and many cousins.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday, April 25th 9:30AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Memorial Service 10:30 AM in the Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Frazer 392 Lancaster Ave., Frazer, PA 19355. Inurnment Philadelphia Memorial Park.
