June Anderson passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016. June was born on September 10, 1962 in Temple, Texas to Thomas and Jane Anderson.
June attended Humble High School and graduated class of 1980. She excelled academically especially in the Arts that she loved so much. She was exceptionally talented and proficient in tap and ballet. She studied with Miss Olia of New York while in New Jersey and later in Kingwood studied under Sheryl Rowland School of Ballet. June attended a summer course with Houston City Ballet and taught a beginner's ballet class at Rowlands.
June also played flute in the Humble HS band, and was on the Trailwood Swim Team excelling in backstroke. While in Humble High School she tried out for the drill team and made it. After graduation June attended North Harris County College Downtown, then later transferred to University of Texas as a Pharmacy Major.
June had some severe medical issues most of her adult life and thankfully died in her sleep from pneumonia.
June is survived by her parents Thomas and Jane Anderson; brother, Thomas Charles Anderson Jr and wife Denise; sister, Dr. Judith Deane Anderson and husband Daniel Wright; nieces, Jenna and Julianne Garcia and many cousins.
Private Services were held at Darst Funeral Home.
