Homer L. Mize born September 17, 1926 in Iola, Texas died January 21, 2016 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Marilyn, children Trudy Roach and husband Don, Mitchel Mize and wife Gayle, and Nita Dickerson and husband Reagan, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He retired from Shell Oil in 1987 after 39 years and was Supervisor of Instrument Control Systems. Served in the Navy during WWII. Was a member of First Baptist church of Deer Park. A 60 year Mason and Past Master of Deer Park Lodge 1362.
