Zachary Colin Lee McCray, 21, of St. Augustine, passed away on May 25, 2016, in St. Augustine.
Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday May 29, 2016, at Craig Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday May 30, 2016, at Anastasia Baptist Church with Pastor Walter West officiating, accompanied by Assistant Pastor Mason Reigger and Pastor LaVoy Newton of Lighthouse Church of God.
Zac was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, to Donald J. "Jeff" McCray and Cheryl McCray Moses on October 25, 1994. He graduated from St. Augustine High School in 2013. He attended Marietta College (Ohio), Santa Fe College (Gainesville, Florida) and was admitted to St. Johns River State College (St. Augustine). He has recently worked in the food industry at several local restaurants.
Those who knew Zac admired his passion for music, from his evolving vinyl album music collection to his enviable selection of guitars, which he played with an open heart that you could feel. He was an avid gamer through which he developed long-term friendships. As a youngster, he gained statewide recognition for his artwork.
Zac is survived and dearly loved by his parents, Donald J. "Jeff" McCray and Cheryl McCray Moses; maternal grandparents Eugene and Ruth Croyle; paternal grandmother Jean McCray; aunts and uncles including Greg McCray, Brian McCray, Karen (Croyle) Brannon and Steven Croyle; cousins including Ashley McCray, Cody Brannon, Ryan Brannon and Bianca Croyle; step-father Gregory J. Moses, MD; step-siblings including Mark Moses, Matthan and Amy (Moses) Jackson, and Brian Moses; step-niece Lily Grace Jackson.

Our plans were to always be together forever. Move to Iceland, have a small sheep farm and own 6 dogs in a cozy cabin. In the kingdom of heaven I know we will be again. I cannot wait to see you, words can't describe. You were the best boyfriend I have ever had. You'll always remain my soul mate though. The most wonderful teacher and truth giver. You taught me how to live. You taught me to see Adonai Yeera (The Lord our Provider). You taught me how to pray. You showed me how to love unconditionally, to always be kind and above all, truthful.
