Sarah was born March 31, 1945 in Marshfield, WI to Nick and Helen (Cepress) Schill. She graduated from Auburndale High School before marrying Leonard (Len) Strigel on July 31, 1965. Deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, Sarah spent much of her time volunteering for the Our Lady Queen of Heaven PCCW, the Lowell Center, and at Assumption High School. She loved playing cards, and watching the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. She was known amongst her entire family for her famous peanut butter blossom cookies. Most importantly, Sarah loved spending time with family. She loved taking her grandchildren to the zoo, dancing with Len at weddings, and attending dance, arts, academic, and sporting events for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Sarah is survived by her husband Len; son, Brian (Kris) Strigel and their children, Nick (friend Megan), Will (Julie), and Joe (fiancé Jensynn); daughters, Brenda (Mark) Baltus and their children, Taylor (friend Kolin), and Brady; and Linda (Rob) Schill and their daughters, Ellie (friend Tyler), Kendall, and Ava. Sarah is further survived by her brothers, Tom (Lynn) Schill, and Joe (Judy) Schill, and sisters, Ann (Dick) See, Betty Strub, Lucille (Emil) Oertel, Kathy (Marv) Klawikowski, Mary (Dave) Jepsen, Jane Hahn, and Helen (George) Swetz; sisters-in-law Milly Schill, Joyce (Chuck) LaVigne, Betty (Mike) Bialk, and Sally (Mike) Baltus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dick Schill, and Donnie Schill; brothers-in-law Paul Strub and Dale Hahn and sister-in-law, Lucy Schill.

In lieu of flowers, donations will go to various charities to be determined at a later date.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at the Aspirus Cancer Center at Riverview Hospital.
