Robert Wilush Obituary
Robert E. Wilush, age 79, of Columbus, died Monday, September 17, 2018 at Friendship Village of Columbus. Robert was born in Youngstown, Ohio on January 30, 1939 to the late Stanley and Mary (Pacek) Wilush. He was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Class of '57. Robert worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for over 28 years, becoming the youngest foreman. He then worked for Clemente-McKay Funeral Home in Struthers as an ambulance dispatcher. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, birding with his wife and was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Joyce. Survived by his son, Kevin (Marilyn) Wilush; grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica), Stephen (Melanie) and Andrew Wilush; great-granddaughter, Caroline; brother, Edward (Sherry) Wilush; sister-in-law, Twila (Kevin) Foreman; brother-in-law, Johnny Curatolo; and nephew, James (Joanne) Graham. Friends may call at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday September 20, 2018 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1pm at the funeral home. Kevin. I don't know if you will see this but here it goes. I'm so sorry about the passing of Uncle Bob. Your parents treated me like family from the beginning. I wish I could have brought myself to go to the funeral but I didn't want to break down and he passed so soon after Dave. Our family has had so many funerals in the past six years. I know Dave and Uncle Bob are hanging out together in heaven. I didn't have your address. Prayers to you all.
