Albert Joseph Soddano, 87, of East Granby, loving husband of the late Isabel Joan Soddano, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Albert was born in the Calabria region of Italy on November 13, 1936, and was raised in Harrison, NY. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Albert proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. After his military service, he was a dedicated member of the American Legion, a Vice-Commander, and a member of the Forty and Eight.
Albert's life was always centered around children and family. He enjoyed cooking for them, and also enjoyed a good home-cooked meal. He was self-taught and an avid reader. Albert loved gardening, traveling, and the outdoors. He especially loved doing all of these things with his family.
Albert is survived by his three children, his grandson David, and his great-grandson Dennis.
