We just learned yesterday that Dr. Macaione left this world. I'm assuming the good Lord needed one of his angels back, because that's exactly what Dr. M. was....an angel on earth. My husband and I were patients of his for many years and we are so grateful to have had that opportunity. He had a very kind and calming demeanor with such a funny, quick wit. One time Dr. Macaione removed a sebaceous cyst from my scalp and joked about how it looked like a chee chee bean (garbanzo bean), so for a Christmas present that year, we wrapped up a can of garbanzo beans for him. I wish you could have heard his laughter!
I'm sure Dr. Macaione will always be remembered with fondness and love, because so many of us truly loved him.
I pray that his family will find peace and consolation in his beautiful legacy, and that all his favorite traditions will live on.
Blessings to you all,
Rosemary & Marty Pinizzotto

We grew up together. We were best friends from 1st grade until now. The world lost a great gentleman with his passing. With love and prayers. Sadly missed. Joan . .
