Alice enjoyed being surrounded by her mother, Louise Symons (noted Indiana artist) oil paintings. A talented artist herself, Alice also painted several family favorites. She facilitated her mother’s Art Workshop by helping mentor students and being involved in the art shows at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts. Alice enjoyed taking summer art and music classes at Chautauqua Institution in New York.
Alice loved social events with her family and many friends over the years, and offered endless hospitality. With her trademark lipstick and earrings, Alice was always noticed as one class act.
