Allen E. McGaffic, 80, of East Liverpool, passed at his residence on Monday, June 3, 2024, following a lengthy illness.
Born, September 11, 1943, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Clyde and Madora Lockhart McGaffic.
Allen attended East Liverpool High School. He worked several jobs throughout his life including Lynn Ambulance and Life Team Ambulance. He later retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation where he dedicated 23 years.
He was a member of Northside Community Church in East Liverpool.
Allen was an avid bowler and bowled for many years in area leagues. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing softball. He had a great sense of humor and was always there when you needed him.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Patricia Nolan McGaffic; sons, Todd McGaffic and his wife, Rhonda of Melbourne, FL. and Robert Durbin of Columbiana; daughters, Kimberly Potts and her husband, Robert of East Liverpool and Tricia Robbins of Lake Worth, FL.; son-in-law, Charles Mancuso of West Palm Beach, FL.; sister, Betty James of Calcutta; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Allen was preceded in death by his daughter, Jo Lynn Mancuso; brothers, Robert, Glenn McGaffic and sisters, Evelyn Debee, Norma Fry, and Karen Taylor.
Pastor Larry Rose will celebrate Allen's life, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with his family at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Private inurnment will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery.
