Allena Sutton Obituary
family.
She was born on July 19, 1948, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Dizney and Lois Friz Ball. She
graduated from Lakeland High School in 1966.
After raising her children, she returned to school to become a paralegal. She was an avid tennis player,
and she loved the beach and her cabin in the North Carolina mountains. Above all, she adored her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Allena was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Malcolm
Mike Sutton; her daughters, Cynthia Sutton McDanal and Tracy Sutton Horton; her sister Sherri Ball
Andrew; her granddaughters, Riley, Skylar, Abby, and Savannah; and her great-granddaughters, Amelia
and Elaine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:00 am at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
