Alyshia Nikole Ross

Alyshia Nikole Kennedy Ross, affectionately known as Aly, passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 32, in her birthplace, Randolph County, North Carolina. Born on October 2, 1992, Aly lived a life marked by resilience, intelligence, and a profound love for her family and community. A graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School in Asheboro, NC, Aly was a self-employed mechanic, showcasing her impressive skills and vast knowledge in many fields. Her passion for working on cars was matched only by her dedication to her family and friends. Whether tuning an engine, spending cherished moments with her children, or finding solace in music, Aly brought joy and energy to those around her. On July 28, 2019, Aly married the love of her life, Jeremy Allen Ross, in Winston-Salem, NC. Together, they built a loving family that was the center of Aly's world. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jeremy, and her beloved children, Mackenlie, Mackstyn, Mackallen, and Macknight, who will carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Aly is also survived by her parents, Christi and Christopher Muckenfuss, who instilled in her kindness and resilience; her siblings, Amber, Austin, and Logan, who shared countless memories and adventures; her grandmothers, Donna Blakely of South Carolina and Vickie Cross of Randleman; grandfather Johnny "Mitchell" Smith; her grandparents, Loretta and Terry Haire of Asheboro; and her great-grandmother, Alta Smith of Rockingham, all of whom cherished her deeply. Aly is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gary Blakely, whose memory she held close throughout her life. The family will hold a service of remembrance from 2-4pm on Sunday December 8, 2024 at 120 Worth Street, Asheboro, 27203 to honor Aly's vibrant spirit and heartfelt contributions to those she loved and allowing friends and family to gather in tribute to a remarkable woman whose presence brightened every room. In this time of grief, may we remember Aly's warmth, her laughter, and the indelible impact she made on every life she touched.
